Call for Special Sessions
Special sessions are organized by experts in a specific area in AI. Each special session serves as a focused exchange of latest research results in the area. The PRICAI 2012 Programme Committee solicits proposals for special sessions within the field of AI. All papers submitted to this conference, including special sessions, will be peer-reviewed using the same criteria. The published conference proceedings will include all accepted papers to this conference and special sessions.
A proposal for a special session should include the session title, a brief description of the scope and motivation, names, contact information, and brief CVs of the organizers, and state the reason why the proposed special session shall be held now in this conference. Proposals are accepted from now until 15 December 2011.
Papers submitted to special sessions and the main conference will use the same submission system, except that the authors must specify a special session, if they choose to submit to one.
The duration of each special session can vary depending on the number of accepted papers. Special sessions should at least comprise four papers.
Each session chair is expected to recruit reviewers and will assign reviewers for each paper through the general PRICAI submission system. In order to ensure the quality of the papers, the Special Session Chairs and the Programme Chairs will oversee all papers accepted by each special session organizer before the papers are finally accepted.
When a special session is accepted, the organizers of that session shall suggest reviewers for their session to be added into the program committee.
